It's great that Roland took his camera along on these trips to capture these images. The scenery in almost all of these photos has changed over the past 30 years. So much urban growth, in-and-around the Portland area, has made some of these locations unrecognizable. Of course today an engineer could not do this, using any electronic device like phone or camera is strictly prohibited.
